Agathe Bourgon Programme Manager

Agathe joined Montpelier Foundation at inception in March 2013. Prior to that she spent three years working for an operations consulting firm, helping its clients improve the value they get out of marketing services. In her spare time, she has enjoyed volunteering with youth-focused non-profits.

She holds a Masters in Management, Organisations and Governance from the London School of Economics and a French-Spanish bachelors degree in Business Administration. Agathe is French and lived in Mexico for 12 years.


Mireya Alvarez  Programme Manager

Mireya joined Montpelier Foundation in August 2015 after working for two years in the social investing & social enterprise space in the UK. Mireya was an investment officer at Nesta Impact Investments investing in highly innovative, scalable and sustainable social impact ventures in the UK. She is an OnPurpose leadership programme fellow, during which she collaborated with the social investment wholesaler “Big Society Capital” and the charity “Shakespeare Schools Festival” holding investment and business development roles.

Mireya comes from a 5-yr career in corporate finance at EY and real estate private equity at LaSalle Investment Management in Mexico and holds an MBA from London Business School.

Louise Busson  Programme Manager

Louise interned with Montpelier Foundation in September 2014, then worked part-time as she completed her undergraduate studies in Government and History at the London School of Economics. Louise joined full-time in June 2015.

Louise has worked as a mentor with youth charities, and participated in campaigns and fundraising events for mental health and homeless groups. She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Management from the University of London.


Claire Churchill  Programme Manager

Claire joined Montpelier Foundation in April 2018, following roles with a UK-focused social impact venture capital fund and an early stage tech startup, where she helped launch the company’s initial pilots with social care agencies.

Claire’s career began in fixed income asset management, in both the municipal and global bond markets. She has an MBA from the London Business School and a BA in French and International Affairs from the University of New Hampshire. She is also a CFA charterholder.
