Liberia Education Advancement Program

Mission:  To improve learning outcomes for Liberian children and advance the life prospects of the next generation.

Where they work: Liberia

Our partnership:  We supported the Liberia Education Advancement Program (LEAP) in its first pilot years (2016-18) with grant funding from our sister non-profit Hampshire Foundation.

Previously known as Partnership Schools for Liberia, LEAP was launched as a public-private partnership in 2016 by the Ministry of Education of Liberia, with the mission to transform the state education system. Eight education providers with proven track records have been contracted to manage a selection of Liberian primary schools and nurseries in order to improve enrolments and learning outcomes for the pupils and to test new innovations for the education system.
